The holidays can feel heavy for a lot of people—stress, fatigue, and emotional burnout tend to build up. That’s exactly why this initiative matters. It gives people a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Our Mind Care Center officially kicked off this year’s “Pasasalamat Ko Ngayon PasKo: Golden Love, Golden Care” with the opening of the Pasko Gratitude Wall. The wall features heartfelt and inspiring messages from Ms. Ma. Cristina M. Consing and Dr. Emy Jovellanos-Romeo, setting the tone for a season centered on appreciation, healing, and human connection. It’s more than a display—it’s a space where gratitude becomes visible and shared across the community.
PHMC–Las Piñas proudly highlights the Mind Care Center’s CARE Program, a holistic psychosocial support initiative designed for both employees and patients. This program earned national recognition as the Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Philippines at the Health Care Asia Awards 2025. CARE stands for Compassion, Appreciation, Recognition, and Expression—four simple but powerful values that guide how we support mental and emotional well-being inside the hospital.
The Pasko Gratitude Wall also marks the beginning of a week-long lineup of meaningful activities designed to engage, uplift, and connect:
- Golden Hope Jar – a space to share wishes and messages of encouragement
- Golden Care Check-Up – quick mental wellness check-ins and support
- Golden Chain Hug – a symbolic activity promoting unity and support
- Golden Care Ribbons – spreading awareness and solidarity
- DIY Christmas Card Station – creating personal messages for loved ones
- Gift of Golden Hearts – acts of kindness and giving
- Golden Tide Finale – featuring “Harana ng Pasko: Songs of Love and Healing,” a musical celebration of hope and comfort

Each activity is designed to be simple, accessible, and meaningful—because sometimes small gestures create the biggest impact.
We invite everyone—patients, staff, and the community—to take part. This is your chance to slow down, express gratitude, and be part of something that genuinely uplifts others.
Let’s start the holiday season not just with celebration, but with intention—grounded in care, connection, and shared humanity.
