At Perpetual Help Medical Center – Las Piñas, continuous learning is an important part of our commitment to providing safe, responsive, and quality patient care.
A total of 51 healthcare employees successfully completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Training, facilitated by HVI, last November 14–15, 2025, at the STEPS Function Room, Tamayo Tower.
The two-day training strengthened the participants’ knowledge and practical skills in recognizing and responding to life-threatening emergencies. Through focused discussions and hands-on activities, our healthcare employees had the opportunity to reinforce essential skills needed when every second counts.
BLS and ACLS training plays an important role in preparing healthcare professionals to respond effectively during cardiac and other medical emergencies. By continuously developing these competencies, our team becomes better equipped to work together, make timely decisions, and provide appropriate care during critical situations.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our facilitators, Dr. Allen Richard D. Villanueva and Dr. John Kenneth B. Rey-Matias, for sharing their expertise and delivering an engaging and meaningful two-day learning experience.
We also congratulate all 51 participants for their commitment to professional growth and their willingness to strengthen the skills that can make a difference in the lives of our patients.
