Important 2026 Update
Members should be aware of an important change in the YAKAP registration process.
Effective March 1, 2026, PhilHealth discontinued the Primary Care Clinic selection module previously available to clinics through the My PhilHealth Portal.
For walk-in beneficiaries, YAKAP Clinic selection is now performed through the eGovPH Super App or PhilHealth Member Portal. Members may also visit a PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office for assistance.
This is important because some older online instructions for PhilHealth Konsulta or YAKAP may describe a registration process that is no longer current.
Step 5: Complete Your First Patient Encounter
Selecting a clinic is only part of the process.
After registering, visit your selected YAKAP Clinic for your First Patient Encounter (FPE).
During the FPE, your healthcare provider may perform:

- Physical assessment

For 2026, PhilHealth states that beneficiaries who completed their FPE in 2025 are automatically renewed with their existing clinic unless they formally request a transfer. Those who were assigned to a clinic but did not complete an FPE in 2025 are not automatically renewed and need to select a YAKAP facility again.

Can Dependents Register for YAKAP?
Yes.
